Father in heaven, You sent us your Son, Jesus, born of Mary, to lead us back to You. We ask your blessing on this image of Jesus that we place in the crib today. May it be a sign of your love for us and be a blessing on all of us, our family and friends who gather with us this Christmas season. May we receive Jesus into our hearts with joy and help us to live like Him. We ask this through the same Jesus our Lord and friend. Amen.
