On Sunday 14th December 2025, all parishioners, and especially children, are invited to bring the baby Jesus figure from their home crib to be blessed at all of the masses in Holy Rosary and Ballintotis. On returning home after the blessing, the blessed figurines should be ‘gift wrapped’, placed either under the tree, or in another suitable location. On Christmas Day it should be the first gift to be opened, helping the children to make the connection between the gifts they receive on Christmas Day and the greatest gift that any of us can receive, Jesus.
