In last week’s bulletin I gave an explanation on how the topic of Adult Faith Formation was one of the topics that came up frequently in the survey that was taken around the country. I printed a list of possible topics and left a space for a topic that may strike you as something you might like to explore. One of the things that I didn’t address last week was the question that is often raised by people when it comes to ‘courses’ run within the Church. What I have in mind is not a set of lectures but reading and discussion groups where everyone involved can ask questions relevant to the topic no matter how basic those questions may be. Faith formation is not just for academics but a learning process to help all of us, as adults, to look at the faith and areas that may help our faith develop from when we were prepared for the sacraments in school. Age for those who take part? From 18 upwards.
