St. Joseph’s Young Priests’ Society’s monthly meeting will take place at the Edmund Rice Centre, Rosary Place on Wednesday next, May 9th after 10.00am Mass. May 13th (date of the first appreciation at Fatima) is the 49th year of the founding of the Midleton branch of the society. May 3rd was the 100th Anniversary of the death of the foundress of St. Joseph’s Young Priests’ Society, Mary Olivia Taffe. Her Midleton connection being that of Sister Harriet was a member of The Order of The Presentation Sisters in Midleton where she taught. Olivia visited her there on many occasions. We remember all those in our prayers today.
