The Season of Creation continues until Wednesday, the Feast of St. Francis. It is apt that the Season of Creation finishes on the feast day of St. Francis. He had a love for and an understanding of animals that few could match. His overview of all of creation from the tiniest of creatures to ‘Brother Sun’, ‘Sister Moon’ and all the stars in the heavens was before his time and a great inspiration for us to recognise the importance of God’s creation in its entirety.
