Plans are now ready to upgrade the lighting system in Holy Rosary Church and grounds. As well as new lights, this will involve a complete overhaul of the electrical system, the installation of a new fire alarm system, new emergency lighting and the upgrade of the sound system, where required.
For this work to be carried out safely and efficiently, it will be necessary to close the church for a two-week period, including one weekend.
Alternative arrangements will be put in place to allow our normal activities to continue as much as possible.
The start date for this work is expected to be in mid to late September or early October. Once the date is confirmed, more detailed information will be made available. Monsignor Jim Killeen, PP
