The first stage of the Pilgrimage takes place this coming Saturday July 12th, beginning with Mass at 8 am in Holy Rosary Church, Midleton, and concluding with prayers at 12 noon in Sacred Heart Church, Mogeely.
- The recommended walking route for pilgrims is the East Cork Greenway.
- Pilgrim passports will be available at Midleton Parish Centre before and after the 8am Mass. These can be stamped on arrival at Mogeely Church and used later for the remaining stages of the pilgrimage. There is no charge for the passports, but a donation of €5 is suggested to cover printing and advertising costs.
- Pilgrims may walk as individuals, as families, or as organised groups as they wish.
- Pilgrims make their own arrangements for returning from Mogeely.
- Those taking part as walkers must be physically able and do so at their own risk. Those who are unable to walk the route may also take part in the pilgrimage by attending the 8 am Mass in Midleton and 12 noon prayers in Mogeely.
