The first readings on Sundays and weekdays at the moment are taken from The Acts of the Apostles. This book is attributed to Saint Luke the Evangelist and looks at the first years of the Church. Up to the conversion of St. Paul in chapter 9 the focus is on Peter and then gradually it shifts towards Paul and his missionary journeys.
