In the second reading this week St. Paul says’…here are we preaching the crucified Christ’. This comes after he tells us that the Jews demand miracles and the Greeks wisdom. In our time different people are looking for different things to make sense of the world around them. For us it can be viewed through the crucified Christ as it was by St. Paul. In accepting Christ crucified we can find strength in our own times of suffering from he who suffered for us, while hoping in the joy that resurrection brings.
