Next Wednesday – Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent – is a day of Fast & Abstinence. Ashes will be blessed and distributed during all Masses. Mass in Ballintotis next Wednesday at 9.15am and in Holy Rosary at 7.30pm on every evening during Lent. Lent is a call to renewal in our lives. The age old strands of prayer, fasting and almsgiving are as valid today as ever. Ashes will be Blessed & Distributed at all Masses.
