Next Wednesday March 1s is the first day of Lent, Ash Wednesday – is a day of Fast & Abstinence. Ashes will be blessed and distributed during all Masses. Mass in Ballintotis at 9.15 a.m. and there is Mass in Holy Rosary at 7.30 p.m. every evening during Lent. Lent is a call to renewal in our lives. The age old strands of prayer, fasting and almsgiving are as valid today as ever. Trócaire Boxes are available at the door of the Church.
