In this week’s Gospel we are still looking at what Jesus taught in the Sermon on the Mount – it continues to be challenging: “You have learnt how it was said: You must love your neighbour and hate your enemy. But I say this to you: love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you….”. This is one part of very high standards he sets for us.
