Next weekend there will be two ‘newsletters’ — one for the 4pm, 6.10pm and 9pm Masses in Holy Rosary and 8pm in Ballintotis on Christmas Eve and the second for 8am, 10am and Noon in Holy Rosary and the 10.30am in Ballintotis on Christmas morning. The first and second readings for those Masses are on the newsletter but the Gospel may vary from the one printed. There are four different Masses in the Missal and the Lectionary for the Nativity of Jesus: the Vigil, the Midnight, the Dawn and the Day Masses. The newsletter cannot accommodate all of those so one setting has been chosen for each one. As we approach the celebration of Christmas let us pray for all those who find this time of the year very difficult. May the Lord bless them.
