My name is Jackie Lucey; I am 21 from the parish of Clondrohid (located near Macroom) and currently a 3rd-year seminarian in Maynooth. Before entering seminary, I had just sat my Leaving Certificate. The idea of Priesthood had always been on my mind from an early age but was not something I took seriously until starting 6th year in secondary school. Then, I began the conversation about my vocation and decided to explore the Priesthood further. While I am still learning about the Priesthood and my vocation, I am happy that I am doing what God is calling me to do in my life at this moment in time.
