Tuesday, 9th, St. Frances of Rome (d.1440), lived a happily married life and founded a society of women under the Rule of St. Benedict. She became a member of the society herself when her husband died.
Thursday 11th, St. Aengus was a monk in Clonenagh, Co. Laois who entered the monastery in Tallaght in the 8th century. Was renowned for his devotion to both foreign and native saints and composed two martyrologies. Returned to Clonenagh when he became abbot and bishop. Died in 824.
