Promoting Climate Action & the Sustainable Development Goals
This year’s One World Week takes place from December 1st to 8th 2019. The theme is Climate Action and the Sustainable Development Goals. Throughout the week young people and youth organisations will take part in local and regional events & activities promoting greater awareness.
One of the highlights of One World Week 2019 will be the Youth Climate Summit – December 5th in the RDS, Dublin.
Students from our parish who attend Midleton CBS Secondary School will participate in the summit.
Midleton Parish Eco-Committee promotes and encourages such initiatives in the spirit of the “Laudato Si” Encyclical (Pope Francis 2015)
