Following the announcement of a new “Parish Pastoral Pathway” for the Diocese of Cloyne by Bishop Crean in April, the Parish Pastoral Councils of Imogeela and Midleton are hosting a 3-Stage Camino of Faith, Hope and Friendship during July, August and September to support the recently proposed partnership between our parishes.
All are welcome to participate in this Camino regardless of parish or area of residence. Each Stage will commence at 7.45am with a short morning prayer and concludes with 10am Mass followed by an opportunity for Rosary, Quiet Prayer and Confession. Participants are welcome to join at any point and participate in all or any aspect of the Camino as they desire. The 1st stage was completed yesterday and was very well attended. There are 2 Stages remaining as follows: Stage 2: Saturday August 8th – Mogeely to Midleton. Stage 3: Saturday September 5th – Castlemartyr to Ballintotis. Stages 1 & 2 will follow the Midleton-Mogeely Greenway and Stage 3 will follow a safe walking route.
