Feast of the Holy Family
Dear Rev Father, Rev Deacon,
This Jubilee Year which we formally draw to a close has been a year long celebration of the hope that is ours in Christ Jesus.
Through the theme of ‘pilgrims of hope’ we’ve been immersed in the many dimensions of God’s grace and mercy and experienced the renewal it brings to our hearts. It is a ‘hope that never disappoints’ Romans 5:5. We have learned anew that renewal and reconciliation go hand in hand.
On Sunday next, 28th December, the Feast of The Holy Family, we solemnly and formally mark the closure of this Jubilee Year of Grace here in St Colman’s Cathedral, Cobh, at 7.00pm, (please note the time of 7.00pm)
As this is a Diocesan Celebration, I invite you to join me in this Eucharistic thanksgiving. Please extend this invitation to members of parish councils, readers, eucharistic ministers and parishioners. All are welcome.
